Yes the XM130 MSR works in QuickBooks.

The card reader needs to transmit the card information on one line. Removal of the carriage return between tracks is required.

You will need the Card Swipe Utility. Click Here

Once you have the utility open take the following steps:

1. Select Reader Interface
2. Select the correct connection to your computer and click continue.
3. Select Change Basic Reader Settings
4. Click on Track Settings Tab
5. Click the down arrow in the Non-Printable Char: box to the Right of the Track Separator box
6. Scroll to the top of the list and select \nul
7. At the bottom of the utility click on Send to MSR

The Scanner should beep to confrim the change in programming.
Now test your card in the software.
