Hello,

We have created a discount in our Aldelo point-of-sale with a seven digit discount id.  We have printed several hundred barcode labels using that discount id and we want to scan the barcode containing that id while in the bar order screen using our Pos-x xi3000 scanner.

Unfortunately, the discount is not being shown until after the next order item is entered or the order is settled (which is too late).  If the keyboard is used to enter the discount code, it is accepted after the enter key is pressed.

The scanner is also used for entering regular UPC items from the shop.

It looks like our mistake was in using a 7-digit number but when we scan the barcode into Note, the correct code appears on the screen followed by a carriage return line feed.

Is there a scanner setting we can use to  make this work?
