I am trying to set up a XR510 printer with Windows 7 (32-bit), running on a Mac Mini with Boot Camp. The driver installs without a problem and the printer shows up in the printer settings menu. However, it does not print - not even the Windows Test Page. All I am getting is an error message in the printing queue. Any ideas?

We are not able to do support for Apple products. However, most issues with our printers can be fixed by doing the following:

By default, the driver will install to LPT1, a Parallel port. You are probably using a USB port on the Mac Mini to connect the XR510.

You will want to check the Ports tab of the printer driver properties. From there you will want to check which port is selected. and then select the first available USB port. From there try a test page and see if it prints. If not, try the next available USB port and do another test page.

That is most likely the cause of the issue. If not, it could be a setting inside of the Boot Camp. You will want to contact Apple support for any troubleshooting regarding Boot Camp.
