Junior Web/Software Developer/Programmer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a sharp, fresh-minded, junior-level programmer to help grow our young but rapidly expanding point-of-sale hardware manufacturing company located in Bellingham. The person in this position will assist the lead programmer in the development of the POS-X website as well as develop in-house applications. This is an entry-level position with opportunity for growth within the company.

JOB DUTIES:
• Maintain and develop database-driven web site and CRM system
• Maintain and develop in-house applications
• Adapt Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign mockups into functioning web pages
• Work closely with team members from start to finish of design process
• Integrate feedback from multiple departments into final designs

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Minimum 2-Year Degree in Computer Science, MIS (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Web Development experience
• ASP.NET/VB.NET, AJAX, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS
• Basic graphic/image manipulation skills
• A passion for programming and problem solving
• Professional attitude, outgoing & friendly personality; Self-motivated
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

BONUS SKILLS
• Java/JQuery
• Adobe CS5/CS5.5
