Marketing/Graphic Design Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This Marketing/Graphic Design Assistant position will work directly under the Director of Marketing & Design and will assist in the creation and ongoing management of the company’s marketing initiatives.

JOB DUTIES:
• Keep up with industry trends and competition
• Create newsletters, blogs, articles, press releases, case studies, product brochures
• Assist with Website development and content creation
• Maintain social media outlets
• Event planning
• Image processing

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Match company's culture of teamwork, creativity, accountability and personal development and actively contribute to the company’s success
• Must have very strong communication/writing skills
• Must have a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software technologies
• Working knowledge of Adobe CS5 (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign)
• BA degree in marketing or equivalent work experience

BONUS SKILLS
• Skilled with web-based technologies such as HTML, CSS, ASP
• Video production and editing experience
• Excellent online portfolio/links to relevant works
