[ 07/22/2008 ] POS-X Releases the Next Generation of HiSpeed Receipt Printers

peripherals, recently introduced its Next Generation of receipt printers to its products line.
The XR510 Thermal Receipt Printer and the XR210 Impact Receipt Printer combine industry
leading specs with a three year warranty for a durable yet cost effective solution.
The XR510, 33% faster than it's predecessor the XR500, sports a near 8" per second print
speed, has the option of multiple swappable interfaces (USB, Parallel, RS232, & Ethernet),
and includes an interface cable in every box. Additionally, the XR510 is set apart from the
competition with the inclusion of a POS-X exclusive - JamFree Autocutter Technology -
essentially eliminating all paper jams. When the autocutter senses a jam, it automatically
retracts to release the jammed substance with no user interaction required.
The XR210, completely redesigned from the inside out, takes impact receipt printing to the
next level. With an industry leading 5 lines per second, drop-in paper loading, a choice of
autocutter or tear bar, multiple interfaces - including Ethernet - and an interface cable in
every box, the XR210 is the perfect choice for kitchen printing or wherever an impact printer
is needed.
Both printers come standard ESC/POS and OPOS compatible, are wall mountable, and share
the same swappable interface cards.
