The Whatcom County Ski to Sea Marathon occurs every Memorial Day weekend, entailing cross-county skiing, downhill skiing, running, biking, canoeing, mountain biking, and sea kayaking. Over 400 teams from across the world participated this year for a chance to take first place. Since their first entry 3 years ago, the POS-X team has continually improved, taking 18th, 11th, and now 6th in consecutive years.

[ 04/30/2007 ] POS-X Introduces a new and improved Auto-Sense Stand for the XI3000 Performance Barcode Scanner
The new stand utilizes recent updates to the Xi3000 line, namely magnetic sensors in the handle. Once the sensors are activated, the scanner automatically switches to auto-sense mode.
