Computer Hardware Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position requires a high level of computer hardware knowledge and ability to work independently with limited supervision, but not afraid to ask questions. Advanced repair training is provided. Variable schedules from 25 to 40 hours a week (M-F).

JOB DUTIES:
• Troubleshoot and repair printers, monitors and computers
• Communicate with support team, and record detailed notes on hardware issues found
• Prepare repaired units for adding to our outlet store
• Work independently with little supervision

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Thorough knowledge of PC components, WinXP, networking, and an ability to troubleshoot issues
• High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and learn on the fly
• 2 or 4 year degree preferred
